The Brainy Bunch
Welcome to the Brainy Bunch, a passionate FLL team made up of middle-schoolers Ansh Nadger, Reyansh Mamidisatti, and Sriman Penigalapati. Our mission is to enhance the world of archaeology by addressing the challenges posed by pseudoarchaeology. Through this website, we aim to share our insights and promote genuine archaeological practices, creating a positive impact in the field.
What is FLL?
FLL, or FIRST LEGO League, is a global robotics program that seeks to empower kids from grades K-8 with a engineering mind through STEM. With different sections, being Discover, Explore, and Challenge, teams work together to build and code a robot to complete different lego missions on a game board. The Innovation Project is the more hands-on part of the competition, which encourages kids to go and explore the different fields of science and engineering by giving them a theme for the year. Then, there will be a specific focus question the teams will have to solve, such as "How can you help archaeologists?". Our team, Brainy Bunch, after carefully considering some other projects, selecting on uncovering pseudoarchaeology leading us to build this amazing website.
Our Innovation Project
Our FLL Innovation project has resulted in the creation of a unique Pseudoarchaeology detector website. This innovative tool aims to identify and analyze claims related to pseudoarchaeology, providing users with reliable resources. By promoting critical thinking and encouraging evidence-based reasoning, we hope to foster a deeper understanding of archaeology and significance.
